SUMMARY
This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Competence in this unit, does not in itself result in a HRWL licence to operate this plant.

DURATION
This course is a 3-day course which runs weekly, Monday to Wednesday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

CERTIFICATION
On successful completion of this course students will be issued with a:

• Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for TLILIC0003 Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck.
• Interim High Risk Work Licence, valid for 60 days. Which allows you to operate a Forklift whilst your submitted application is being processed by WorkSafe.

CERTIFICATION EXPIRY
Your Statement of Attainment does not have an expiry date; however, your High-Risk Work Licence expires every 5 years. You must not conduct high-risk work until your licence has been renewed.
