Industry Training Qld (Provider Number 30477) Townsville offers training for TLIC4006 Drive multi-combination vehicle.

Summary

The student needs to have held a HR (Heavy Rigid) licence for a period of at least 12 months before they can participate in this course.

This training course is held on a one-on-one basis.
Student may require an assessment lesson prior to commencing this course.

 

Training option  1 –

If the student holds a current HR (Heavy Rigid) licence, this course may be delivered over a period of 2 days, subject to the student’s experience and competency level.

This delivery model includes theory training, practical driving, and assessment conducted over the 2-day period.

Training is structured to allow the student to progressively develop the knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate a multi-combination vehicle, supporting improved confidence and overall competency outcomes.

 

Training option 2 – Contact office for price

A staged training approach designed to support students progressing from Heavy Rigid (HR) to Multi-Combination (MC), providing additional time to develop skills, knowledge, and confidence.

Course Structure

  • 3 hours theory training and assessment + truck and trailer induction
  • 4 x 3-hour practical driving sessions
  • Final Competency Assessment (3 Hour Block)

After the student is deemed competent, they will be given a Statement of Attainment that they would need to present to Queensland Transport so the MC (Multi-combination) class can be endorsed on their licence.
