Marshall Nielsen
Managing Director
As a major stakeholder, Mr Nielsen (Bunge) is the Director of ITQ. Bunge assists the ITQ Board in creating and executing strategic business initiatives while overseeing the critical components of daily operations. Bunge has built a strong skill set in managing teams and complex business environments, and during this time he has built many networks which now continue to support the business in gaining access to new opportunities. Throughout his career, Bunge has built his skill set to engage appropriate industry entities, organisations, and individuals with educational and training services. Bunge’s skills and experience in ensuring operational efficiency and developing targeted and effective business development strategies will continue to support the integrity of the ITQ business model. Bunge owns 50% of ITQ’s shares and has received several awards throughout his business career.
Lynda Nielsen
Finance and Human Resources Manager
Ms Lynda Nielsen is the Company Secretary and, the on-site Finance and Human Resources Manager of ITQ. Lynda has been in her management positions with Industry Training Qld since Day 1, welcoming and inducting many new employees, many of whom remained with the Registered Training Organisation for over 10 years. Apart from ensuring that members of staff are familiar and comfortable with their various roles in the Company, Lynda also manages the many clients that ITQ has nurtured throughout the past 30 years. Her Finance Manager role includes processing all the invoices, receipts, and staff wages. Lynda passionately works with each member of staff, to maintain a sense of cohesion and motivation. She enjoys helping staff to reach their goals and overseeing a diverse and inclusive team. Lynda remains dedicated to continuous improvement with a motivated and inspiring team.
Dr Darryl Gauld OAM
Compliance Manager
Dr Darryl Gauld OAM is currently the Deputy Chair of a Higher Education provider in Sydney, since 2016. Darryl’s award-winning Doctorate produced an Effective Trainer Model that has been published Blackwell’s Handbook of the Psychology of Training, Development and E-learning, by invitation. It also formed part of the Australian Professional Standards for Trainers, 11 years later. He has consulted to educational, security and financial organisations, including the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Sydney. Darryl has been a Director of Independent Secondary Schools, Treasurer of Sydney’s Regency Hyde Park, on the Executive of Chambers of Commerce, Regional Tourism Boards, the Sydney-San Francisco Sister City Committee (the oldest in Australia), President of Team Sydney Sports, a Fellow and Director of MBA Australasia Ltd, and an international Sporting Governance Committee. On 26 January 2017, Darryl was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia, in the Australia Day 2017 Honours List: “For service to education, and to social justice and human rights”. and presented, nationally and internationally.
