This unit of competency is designed for participants wanting to develop their Knowledge and skills in maintaining and operating quad bikes. It includes pre operational checks, maintenance and operating equipment as per the Manufactures operation manual. This units applies to following workers who use side by quad bikes as part of their day to day work.

This unit covers the process of maintaining and operating quad bikes (four wheeled), and defines the standard required to: perform routine pre-operational checks and maintenance; match, attach and operate equipment as described in the manufacturer’s operators manual; recognise and control hazards and risks; safely operate quad bikes in a range of weather and terrain conditions; monitor and maintain vehicle records.
This is a 6 – 8 hour course including theory and practical.
Courses are available Monday to Friday on days to suit you and commence every week. Times are from 8.00am to approximately 2.00pm each day.
A Statement of Attainment to AHCMOM212A will be issued to applicants who meet the criteria required from the Training Package.
Participants will need to wear their own protective boots and hi-vis shirt. All other required equipment and training notes are provided for participant’s use. In order to increase training relevance and operator comfort, trainees are encouraged to use any or all their own equipment if practicable.
