This unit covers the scope of work to demonstrate competency in the application of slinging techniques, selection, and inspection of lifting gear and/or the directing of the crane/ operator in the movement of the load. Competence in this unit, does not in itself result in a Risk Work Licence (HRWL).

This course is a 5-day course.

Certification

On successful completion of this course students will be issued with a:

  • Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for CPCCLDG3001 Licence to perform dogging.
  • Interim High Risk Work Licence, valid for 60 days. Which allows you to do dogging whilst Workplace Health & Safety Queensland are processing your submitted application.

Certification Expiry

Your Statement of Attainment does not have an expiry date; however, your High-Risk Work Licence expires every 5 years. You must not carry out high-risk work until your licence has been renewed.
