Summary

This nationally recognised unit of competency is designed for individuals who are required to operate a non-slewing mobile crane with a capacity greater than 3 tonnes.
The training provides learners with the skills and knowledge to plan, prepare and safely operate these cranes in accordance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and Safe Work Australia’s National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work (HRW).

Duration

This course is a 5-day course.

Certification

On successful completion of this course students will be issued with a:

  • Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for TLILIC0040 Licence to Operate a Non-Slewing Mobile Crane.
  • Interim High Risk Work Licence, valid for 60 days. Which allows you to operate operate a Non-Slewing Mobile Crane whilst Workplace Health & Safety Queensland are processing your submitted application.

Certification Expiry

Your Statement of Attainment does not have an expiry date; however, your High-Risk Work Licence expires every 5 years. You must not carry out high-risk work until your licence has been renewed.
